What should have been an enjoyable trip to the hair salon turned into a traumatic experience for our client as her head and face were burnt while she was having her hair dyed and the hairdresser used a hair drying machine on the incorrect setting.
The salon denied liability and proceedings were issued. Following proceedings, the salon offered £1500 in compensation representing 100% of the claim.
Our client was satisfied with the outcome. She said: “Thank you for everything you have done for me. I’m glad I went through with this, and if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have got this far.
It is nice to get a result out of it, not just the money but to prove that people are wrong and shouldn’t get away with these things. I have never done this before, but I thought the whole process has been very efficient with good communication. It has been brilliant all round and I have been treated very well.”
