Success story – finger amputation £10,000 compensation

Losing part of a finger or limb can be a life-changing event causing distress not only in physical terms but with the financial implications it brings.

Our client instructed us two years’ ago in February 2018 after undergoing a partial amputation to one of his fingers after an accident at work.

His employer denied liability throughout the case so proceedings were issued in court and a trial date was set for 24^th January 2020.

On 14^th January 2020 we received an offer of £5,000 from his employer. We advised our client to reject the offer and successfully negotiated a settlement of £10,000 which represented almost 100% of his claim, three days before the trial was due to commence.
